A Rolex Submariner engraved with a heartfelt tribute to Keanu Reeves’ John Wick 4 stunt team has been recovered in Chile, nearly a year after being stolen during a robbery at the actor’s Los Angeles home.
The watch, along with two others, was uncovered in a police raid related to local robberies in Santiago, Chile.
The timepiece, which Reeves had gifted to members of the stunt team working on John Wick 4, bears the engraving: “The John Wick Five. Keanu Thank You JW4 2021.” The special edition Rolex Submariners were given to the crew members, including stuntmen, as a token of appreciation for their hard work.
Police in Chile confirmed the watch was one of several high-value items seized during the raid. A representative from the Investigations Police of Chile confirmed that the stolen Rolex belonged to the Hollywood star and was linked to a robbery in Los Angeles in December 2023. Authorities are currently working with Los Angeles police to return the watch to Reeves.
The burglary occurred when masked thieves targeted Reeves’ Los Angeles home while he was away. Although a firearm was reported stolen, further details on other items taken remain unclear. Los Angeles police continue to investigate the robbery, but there have been no significant updates.
This recovery has caught the attention of fans, who have found an ironic parallel between Keanu Reeves’ real-life ordeal and his action-packed John Wick franchise, where the star faces similar high-stakes scenarios.
